New Inspiration!

Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd point you in the direction of this guy from the US, Shawn McDonald. I stumbled upon his myspace.com site and listened to a few of his tracks which are truly God-inspired. Take some time to go to his website too. Make sure you visit the biog page which I found very inspiring. Its great to see God at work in all areas of the world, working in people's lives so that he can use them to reach other people.
Hopefully he'll be another addition to my blog fans too!
God bless - over and out
Aaron

Hit Me Baby, I Want To Go Home

Today I was at the BBC TV Centre to perform with Mica Paris. We had to be there at 9am which was a pain. These shows usually involve a very long day and this was to be one. We had been told that we would be miming to Robbie Williams' "Angels" and were sent the track on email about two days before the session. I didn't get time to listen to it but I kind of knew it anyway.
When we arrived today, we went straight in to rehearse the song and choreography (gentle swaying from side to side etc.) and it went ok. We had been advised to bring an all-black outfit which is quite usual but then Mica Paris said that she had told her management to ask our agency to tell us to bring all-white. After talking her out of it - as we would have had to travel to each of our homes and back in time for dress rehearsal - she opted instead for the wardrobe team to go out to the market and buy white t-shirts for all of us. What a pavlova!
So anyway, after all that kufuffle, we did the show and everything went well. I had a good day but it was just really long and tiring. It was good to catch up with some people that I hadn't seen for a long time.
If you saw the show, let me know what you thought.
Over and out, A

It has been raining all day...

Its now 8.10pm. It has been raining now non-stop since about 1pm. I haven't been out all day except for when my mum returned home at about 6pm and needed help getting some shopping in from the car. I had planned an adventure into Newcastle centre but it was not to be. And I fly back home tomorrow and probably won't get time to go into town :-(
So we (me and the folks) are going to watch a film later after the Newcastle match is done. The film we are going to watch is "The Man with Two Brains" with Steve Martin and Kathleen Turner. I haven't seen this film for about 15 or so years so it should be a laugh. I remember it being very funny.
Have a nice evening wherever you are.
Roger that. Over and out.

That Cramlington

So once again I'm up in that Cramlington. I got here on Friday last week and it was freezing. I thought I was in for a cold stay but no, the weather picked up again and up until now it has stayed quite nice. We were supposed to get rain today but it must have just passed us - nice of it.
My little nephew Leon was staying with us on the first night which was a nice treat, except he was ill with a tummy bug and I ended up holding a bowl under his chin at about 1am. There was "stomach contents" all over his bed and pyjamas and I had to get the mother up to help me out. An interesting first night. Surprisingly, Leon took it all very well and just wanted to go back to sleep. If that was me at the age of 5, I would have been crying my eyes out. I hated throwing up.
Went to my brother's place on Saturday night and ended up staying the night. It was good to see a couple of his mates that I hadn't seen for a while. Played cards and watched TV, real blokey type things. Oh and I cooked dinner.

Had a nice day on Sunday when me and the folks visited Cragside House and Estate (see above picture, which was taken somewhere within the extensive grounds). Hadn't been there since I was a nipper so it bought back a few memories. Its nice to smell fresh air, I miss it quite a lot.
Saw my aunty Paula and uncle Alan on Sunday evening. They have a vast array of animals including dogs, cats, hens, ducks and geese and one of their dogs, Maisie, is heavily pregnant and due any day now. I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of them before my return flight on Friday.
My brother Matthew was over the other evening and we watched Collateral with Tom Cruise. I had seen it before but I was prepared to watch it again as its an ok movie. I'm just a little disappointed in the ending. The following night me and the folks watched Beyond The Sea with Kevin Spacey which again was just ok.
And today, me and the folks went to visit Andy Curtis who made us feel very welcome. Andy made us a nice lunch and nice coffee and then proceeded to try and force my father into ordering almost 4 grand of Apple products (which with a tiny bit more persuading Andy, he would have done, he's easy!) and also gave me the address for a site where I could set up a blog, which I did, which you're reading. Thanks to the Andy for his hospitality.
So now here I am completing my first post. I make a solemn vow to keep this blog up to date - promise!
Feel free to leave a comment.
